My Mum was at school in 1941 and our Auntie Dorothy Burgess taught at the school then too. Are their pictures of this time which I may show my mother and great aunt please.

The only photos we have of the Lodsworth school around that time are on our website, but these are dated ‘1930s’, 1945 and 1948. Unfortunately nothing in the early 1940s. Also, I can’t find any references to the names Cowling or Burgess.
I will post your query on our website in case anyone else has photos or information.
